This section will show
the rives of Itanhaém as well as the regions' ones,
including the attractions located in the rural area. Itanhaém
has a set of rivers that have already made the city very
famous, widely known locally as the Paulista Amazônia (São
Paulo's Amazon). The rivers are surrounded by marshes,
rich in biodiversity and sheltering many species of fish,
animals and tropical birds as the toucan and the red
headed parrot.
The main river is the
Itanhaém River which is made up of smaller ones that are
born on The heights of the Sea Mountain Range. We'll
show here very soon many pictures of tropical waterfalls
hidden in the forest. Birds of all colors, small
parrots, toucans, and many other species of tropical
birds make a show of their own, enchanting everybody who
visits the place.
